Dividing any number by 5 or 10 is simple - once you know the trick!
Dividing by 10 is trivial. Simply drop the last digit of the dividend to arrive at the answer.
Division by 5 is almost as simple. The trick is to multiply the dividend and the divisor by 2, which will make the divisor end in a multiple of 10. This reduces the problem to a single digit division.
For example, conside the following problem:
If we multiply the divisor and dividend both by 2
If the divisor is 25, then we can multiply the dividend by four and then the problem becomes a division by 100.
